Ruben Amorim looks to reshape their midfield.

Manchester United are planning for a midfield overhaul by next summer. Ruben Amorim knows that only one transfer window will not solve this problem at United.

He already made massive changes to United’s attack. Now, he is looking to rebuild United’s midfield. So, there will be massive changes in the midfield.

Many of their current midfielders will leave, and many new faces are expected to replace them. However, it is impractical to expect United to replace all their midfielders in January or next summer.

Yet, they already have the targets in mind. Also, they know the players they need to get rid of to integrate those players.

Also, there are a few alternative targets Amorim has in mind in case Manchester United fails to sign their primary targets.

Now, United have four midfielders who could leave by next summer. First of all, Casemiro is out of contract next summer, and the Red Devils haven’t offered a contract yet to the Brazilian.

Also, Bruno Fernandes was on the verge of leaving this summer, as the Manchester United captain revealed. However, Ruben Amorim stopped his departure.

But next summer anything can happen as Fernandes has already signalled that he is open to leaving or even playing in Saudi Arabia.

Ruben Amorim is not at all impressed with Manuel Urgate. The same is true about Kobbie Mainoo, and the lack of chances indicates that. So, both of them can leave by next summer.

To replace these four midfielders, according to The Sun, Manchester United already have Premier League-proven targets in mind.

They have already tried and failed to sign Carlos Baleba, who remains a target for United. Another important target for United’s midfield rebuild is Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest.

Also, Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton and Bournemouth’s Alex Scott are on the list of potential midfield targets. However, it is illogical to think United will sign all of them.

Meanwhile, Ruben Neves and Morten Hjulmand are two names that are also on Manchester United’s list, as Ruben Amorim looks to reshape their midfield.
