Newcastle United have made Manchester United aware of the money they need to spend to sign Sandro Tonali next summer.
The Red Devils are confident once again that they can make it to the Champions League next summer.
It will mean they will have a much larger budget for the summer transfer window. And the Red Devils need that badly.
Next summer, they will be looking to reshape their midfield. Casemiro already announced that he will be leaving the club. Manuel Ugarte could do the same to revive his career.
Under Michael Carrick, Ugarte has become a squad player as he is not getting enough game time. So, United might have to replace two midfielders next summer.
They are already in talks with Newcastle over signing Bruno Guimaraes, as Transfer News Live reported. Now, they have also made an enquiry about Sandro Tonali.
Now, Newcastle will not want to sell their most important players. The likes of Anthony Gordon, Tino Livramento, and Lewis Hall, are already attracting interest from various Premier League clubs.
According to The i Paper, Newcastle have told Manchester United that they need to pay £100 million if they are willing to sell the Italian.
Now, it shows that the Magpies have not made up their mind on selling their midfielder.
Also, after crashing out of the Champions League at Camp Nou against Barcelona, they will have decisions to make.
So, Manchester United now know how much they will have to bring to the table if they want to convince Newcastle United to sell Sandro Tonali.
🚨 Manchester United have a clear interest in Italy midfielder Sandro Tonali but Newcastle United would demand a fee of more than £100M if they decide to sell the 25-year-old.
