Manchester United’s summer clear-out is in full swing.

The club has already spent big on Matheus Cunha and is closing in on a £60 million deal for Bryan Mbeumo.

But to fund more signings, they need to sell.

One of the names on the chopping block is a winger who never lived up to the hype.

He arrived from a European giant for £73 million but managed just 12 goals and six assists in 83 appearances.

Last season, he did show signs of life while on loan.

In 42 appearances, he scored five goals and set up 10 more.

He helped the club to a successful European campaign.

Still, the club declined to sign him permanently, due to his high price and wage demand.

Napoli had interest but backed off. The winger’s high wage demands proved too much.

Fenerbahce, though, have not walked away.

Reports from Turkey say they have agreed personal terms with the player.

A deal worth £8.5 million per year is being discussed.

Yet another club is now ready to enter the race, one that has been quiet so far but could act fast.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, officials from Serie A side Juventus are preparing to meet Manchester United via video call today.

They are looking for a wide player and are ready to offer a player swap.

Options like Dusan Vlahovic or Douglas Luiz may be used to balance the deal.

With Fenerbahce pushing hard, Juventus want to move quickly for Jadon Sancho.

Once seen as United’s big hope, he may soon be heading to Italy.

And with his contract expiring in a year, Manchester United are ready to let him go for just £17 million.

The final chapter in Sancho’s Premier League story could be close.
