This summer promises to be an interesting one for Tottenham Hotspur.

With Ange out of the door, and Thomas Frank in – their targets are bound to be different.

So far, Mohammed Kudus and Kota Takai are the “brand new” incomings.

Mathys Tel and Kevin Danso had spent the last half of last season on loan.

Meanwhile, Luka Vuskovic had been announced more than a year ago.

However, the window has already had plenty of emotion.

For all intents and purposes, they were set to sign Morgan-Gibbs White from Nottingham Forest.

However, owner Evangelos Marinakis intervened, and the midfielder signed a new deal instead.

In terms of outgoings, there have been no departures that were not pre-planned.

Nevertheless, Heung-Min Son has been linked with a move stateside to LAFC.

Earlier today, GiveMeSport reported that talks were advancing with the MLS side.

As a result, we could see Spurs move to bring in a new left-winger.

Particularly if Mikey Moore is indeed set to head out on loan this summer.

One player they had been linked to was Rodrygo of Real Madrid.

The 24-year old could leave the Spanish giants in search for more starts this summer.

However, the North London side have been given a major setback.

Journalist Santi Aouna has reported that the winger has “no interest” in joining Spurs.

He states that Spurs made an enquiry, but the player would be looking for a “bigger club” if he was to depart this summer.

This is a real shame for Thomas Frank’s side, as Rodrygo would have seriously increased the level of their squad.

They also would have been able to guarantee a starting spot, which would have been important in a World Cup year.

Still, with more than a month left of the summer transfer window, this gives them time to focus elsewhere.
