Cole Palmer could be on the move next summer as the Chelsea star is reportedly unhappy at the London club.
This season, the former Manchester City star managed just 20 appearances due to injuries. Also, he is not happy with Liam Rosenior’s tactics.
Apart from that, he is missing Nicolas Jackson, who used to create space for him on the pitch to make forward runs.
That is why the 23-year-old is ready to make a bold move in the summer. And, three clubs are already showing interest in the Chelsea star.
The Blues paid £40 million upfront to sign Palmer from Manchester City in 2023. For City, he made 41 appearances, scoring 6 times and assisting twice.
Palmer was also a part of that legendary Manchester City squad that won the continental treble in 2023. So far for the Blues, he has made 115 appearances, scoring 51 times and assisting 31 times.
He also scored a brace and provided an assist in the FIFA Club World Cup final to help Chelsea become World Champions.
Now, according to The Sun, Palmer is unhappy at Chelsea, and he could look for a new destination in the summer.
Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich are already showing an interest in the England international.
Cole Palmer has himself confessed that he was a boyhood Manchester United fan. In an interview with talkSPORT, Palmer said:
“I used to be a United fan when I was younger, and I used to watch Rooney all the time.”
Now, it is fair to say that Manchester United’s priority next summer will be to sign at least two midfielders.
So, after rebuilding their midfield, it is unlikely that the Red Devils will have the money to go for a player like Cole Palmer next summer.
