As we slowly approach August, we really are in the thick of the summer transfer window.

Deals are happening left, right and centre across all leagues in all continents.

One team who have a busy summer so far is Fenerbahce.

They are trying to build a squad to win the league for the first time in over a decade.

Earlier on, it was reported that they are close to signing Milan Skriniar permanently from Paris Saint Germain, after his initial loan deal.

Well, it looks as if they are going to bring in another defender as well as the Slovakian.

As per Fabrizio Romano, Jose Mourinho’s side are set to sign Nelson Semedo from Wolves.

The Portuguese right-back finally confirmed his departure from the West Midlands side today, after five years at the club.

With Bright Osayi-Samuel joining Birmingham City, Mourinho’s men needed a new right-back.

Although Romano states that Semedo was wanted by director Devin Ozek, you’d imagine Mourinho is excited at linking up with his compatriot.

In the most part the defender was very consistent at Wolves, and should be very good over in Turkey.

There are still signings that need to be made by the Fenerbahce, but this is a very good signing.

Especially on a free – this allows funds to be used in other key areas of the pitch.
