Manchester United make decision on Barcelona’s proposal for Marcus Rashford

Manchester United have now made their point clear to Barcelona.

Manchester United will have a busy summer transfer window. The Red Devils are looking to sign several players next summer.

However, their focus will also be on the outgoings, and Marcus Rashford is surely on top of that list. The former United academy graduate is enjoying his life at Barcelona.

He has been in superb form at Camp Nou. So far, in 38 games in all competitions for the Catalan giants, Rashford has scored 10 times and assisted 13 times.

Thus, the England international has been involved in 23 goals for Barcelona actively. As a result, Hansi Flick is highly pleased with his output and wants to keep him at the club.

Barcelona already has a €30 million buyout clause in Rashford’s loan deal. However, they are unwilling to pay that amount. And this is where the problem begins.

Manchester United want the La Liga champions to pay that amount and sign Rashford permanently. However, the Catalan club has another plan to secure the player.

They want to sign Marcus Rashford on loan for another season. In this way, they believe they can sign him at a cheaper cost.

However, Manchester United have now made their point clear to Barcelona. According to the Mirror, the Red Devils will reject any such approach from the Catalan giants.

The Red Devils are ready to welcome him back and sell him at a higher price if Barcelona ask for another loan.

So, it is now up to the La Liga club to decide what they will do as their plan to get Rashford on loan again will not be entertained by United.
