Manchester United are already preparing for next season, both on and off the pitch, after securing Champions League qualification with a victory over Liverpool last weekend.
Michael Carrick’s side are now looking to end the campaign strongly, while attention also continues to grow around the club’s managerial situation ahead of the summer.
At the same time, Manchester United will be busy in the transfer market while also finalising commercial plans for next season.
The club recently moved closer to a major new sponsorship agreement with Betway for their training kit.
Now, supporters are also set to receive an early look at another major change for next season.
Several Premier League clubs have started using the final weeks of the campaign to unveil upcoming kits.
Arsenal did the same last year. Also, Bayern Munich recently wore a new strip during their Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain. United are now ready to follow that approach.
According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United will debut their new 2026-27 home kit during the final two games of this season. They will wear it against Nottingham Forest and Brighton.
The new Adidas kit reportedly draws inspiration from famous United shirts from the 1970s. It also features writing on the back of a striped collar.
Club officials believe unveiling the strip early will help build excitement before the official summer release.
Now, the new shirt is not yet available through official club stores. But reports suggest it has already appeared in some Adidas outlets.
United signed a massive ten-year extension with Adidas worth around £900 million back in 2023, making it one of the biggest kit deals in football.
Their return to the Champions League next season will also increase visibility for the new strip on the European stage.
