Arsenal’s Premier League title triumph sparked celebrations across north London on Tuesday night after Manchester City dropped points against Bournemouth.

The Gunners officially secured their first league title since the Invincibles season in 2004, and supporters immediately flooded around the Emirates Stadium to celebrate the historic moment.

Players and fans partied deep into the night after finally ending years of frustration and near misses under Mikel Arteta.

Several Arsenal stars later returned to the Emirates as the sun rose on Wednesday morning, with videos quickly spreading across social media. The celebrations also reached beyond football.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer joined the growing reactions shortly after Arsenal officially became champions. Starmer, a lifelong Arsenal supporter, posted on X:

“22 long years for the Arsenal. But finally, we’re back where we belong. Champions!”

Meanwhile, Arsenal players continued enjoying the moment throughout the night.

Eberechi Eze shared several dressing room photos on Instagram during the celebrations, including one of captain Martin Odegaard holding an Arsenal-branded bottle.

It is a possible response to critics who labelled the team “bottlers” during previous title races. Bukayo Saka also delivered a strong message to doubters after Arsenal secured the trophy.

In a video posted by Jurrien Timber, Saka stood beside the blacked-out Premier League trophy display installed by Arteta at Arsenal’s training ground. Saka said:

“Light that up. 22 years, there was laughing. There was joking. They aren’t laughing anymore.”

The electronic trophy reportedly remained switched off throughout the season and would only light up once Arsenal became champions.

Arsenal will officially lift the Premier League trophy after their final match against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

The club will then parade the trophy through north London on May 31, only one day after facing Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final.
