Arsenal continue to plan for the future despite enjoying one of the most successful seasons in the club’s recent history.
Mikel Arteta guided the Gunners to the Premier League title and also led them to the Champions League final. However, Arsenal fell short in Europe after losing to Paris Saint-Germain.
That defeat reinforced Arteta’s belief that his squad still needs further improvements if they are to establish themselves among the continent’s elite clubs.
The Arsenal manager has made strengthening the attack a priority this summer. The club are actively exploring options that could raise the quality of the starting line-up and provide greater competition across the forward positions.
Arsenal are also assessing multiple possibilities in the market. The club continue to monitor Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers, while Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez remains another player of interest.
Interestingly, Paris Saint-Germain also admire both Rogers and Alvarez. The European champions could look to reshape their own squad and that situation may influence Arsenal’s transfer plans in the coming weeks.
Nevertheless, Arsenal remain focused on identifying players capable of taking the team to another level.
According to The Independent, Arsenal are currently looking into the necessary details before submitting a bid for PSG winger Bradley Barcola.
The 23-year-old has strengthened his growing reputation once again at the World Cup. Barcola scored on his tournament debut as France secured a 3-1 victory over Senegal.
For now, Arsenal have not submitted an offer. However, the club are carrying out the groundwork required before deciding whether to make a formal move for one of Europe’s most exciting young wingers.
