Uncertainty over the future of Vinicius Junior is continuing throughout the summer transfer window.
Vinicius has yet to resolve his contract situation with Real Madrid, with negotiations remaining at a standstill.
Arsenal have identified him as their top target and are prepared to offer a record-breaking contract worth more than £400,000 per week.
PSG have also continued to monitor the Brazilian while Madrid try to secure a new agreement.
The growing interest comes as Real Madrid attempt to avoid losing the winger for nothing if a new deal cannot be agreed.
However, Vinicius still wants to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu if both parties can reach a financial compromise. Relations between Real Madrid and PSG have also deteriorated in recent weeks.
Madrid hijacked PSG’s move for Yan Diomande after presenting a package worth more than €100 million.
Transfer News Live has also reported that PSG are planning to hijack Real Madrid’s pursuit of Rodri as tensions between the two clubs continue to grow.
Now, according to El Nacional, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has added Vinicius Junior to the club’s plans and is considering a move for the Real Madrid star when his contract expires in 2027.
The report claims PSG are studying two possible options. The French champions could attempt to sign Vinicius this summer if negotiations become possible.
However, they are also ready to wait until 2027 and try to sign him as a free agent. The report adds that Diomande’s move to Real Madrid changed the relationship between both clubs.
While Al-Khelaifi does not want a public dispute, he is considering moves that would respond to Madrid’s actions in the transfer market.
However, convincing Vinicius to leave Real Madrid remains the biggest challenge. The Brazilian still prioritises staying at the club. So, it means any move will depend on whether his contract negotiations eventually collapse.
