Barcelona are active in the transfer market this year.
After a successful season under Hansi Flick, the club is exploring bold moves to reshape its attacking line.
However, it has not been a smooth sailing for Barcelona in the transfer market this year.
They have already failed to signing their priority targets.
Nico Williams signed a new contract at Athletic Club and Luis Diaz is now close to joining Bayern Munich.
The only viable option left for Hansi Flick is Marcus Rashford.
The England international has not had the best year.
Once considered one of the brightest stars in the Premier League, his form dipped.
At Manchester United, he is no longer the first choice.
Even the Red Devils have given away his number 10 shirt to their new signing Matheus Cunha.
That change did not come out of nowhere. After Ruben Amorim replaced Erik ten Hag, the system shifted.
The winger suddenly found himself on the fringes, with fewer minutes and even fewer chances to prove his worth.
His loan spell with Aston Villa was not that fruitful. That is why the London decided not make the move permanent.
Now, Marcus Rashford and Manchester United are looking for a permanent solution.
Rashford is not considering a loan. He also wants a club where he can feel important again.
At 26, Marcus Rashford knows he cannot afford to waste time, especially with the 2026 World Cup approaching.
Barcelona see him as an interesting opportunity.
He has top-level experience, great pace, and strong dribbling skills.
Compared to other targets, the Marcus Rashford to Barcelona deal could be much cheaper, around €50 million might be enough.
Rashford is even open to lowering his salary. But, he has one condition that Barcelona must fulfil to sign him.
As reported by Nacional CAT, that condition is Marcus Rashford will only join if he is guaranteed a central role under Hansi Flick.
If Rashford gets what he wants, a move to Camp Nou could become one of the most surprising transfers of the summer.
