Manchester United just concluded their worst season in the Premier League era.
One of the biggest clubs in Europe will not have European football to showcase next season.
And, to pile up the misery, their transfer budget is much lower than what Ruben Amorim would have loved to have.
Former manager of Man Utd, Ralf Rangnick once said the club needs to have an open-heart surgery.
There is no better time to do that. But, Ruben Amorim needs funds for that.
The only way he can generate funds now is by selling players. Yes, a mass exodus is expected at Manchester United this summer.
There have been reports that almost the entire squad is up for sale barring a few.
And, recently, Ruben Amorim has axed one key player from the squad who is on the verge of leaving Old Trafford.
His agents have already contacted Arsenal according to Graeme Bailey of TBR Football as Ruben Amorim has told the player to find a new club.
The player in question here is Alejandro Garnacho. His agent has reportedly contacted Arsenal over a potential move this summer.
According to the same report, Atletico Madrid and Napoli are also keen on signing the player.
Manchester United would want an offer from the clubs interested in signing the player in the region of £51m.
Alejandro Garnacho has played 58 games in the recently concluded season for the Red Devils.
He scored 11 goals and provided 10 assists. However, Manchester United are looking to sell the player.
Also, Arsenal are looking for a right-footed winger as Gabriel Martinelli might leave the Emirates this season.
So, Alejandro Garncho to Arsenal could be a deal that might interest the Gunners and Mikel Arteta in particular.
Surely, as many other players have transformed their careers away from Old Trafford in recent times, it will be interesting to see what will happen to Garnacho as he will leave this season.
