Dele Alli’s career has been one of many highs and lows.

Bursting onto the scene after joining from MK Dons, he quickly established himself as one of England’s brightest stars.

Under Mauricio Pochettino, he became an important player in Tottenham’s rise, starting in a Champions League Final.

Alli was also part of the England side that reached the 2018 World Cup semi-finals.

However, injuries and a dip in form disrupted the England star, with Alli joining Italian side Como last year.

His spell with the then Serie B side was largely uneventful, as he struggled for fitness.

On his one and only game for the club, Alli received a red card, summing up his lows post-Tottenham.

Once valued £100 million, being discussed in the same breath as Europe’s elite midfielders. Now, the story has taken a very different turn.

Recently, Alli was pictured losing £150,000, playing poker, with some saying “he doesn’t seem particularly happy.”

Now, aged 29, he finds himself at a crossroads.

Without a club after leaving Como last summer, he has been working behind the scenes to restore his physical condition.

Reports from The Standard, say that Alli has been training at Tottenham Hotspur’s facilities.

The sight of him in familiar surroundings inevitably brings back memories for some supporters.

From iconic goals, to that unforgettable Champions League run in 2019, he remains tied to a period many fans still look back on with joy.

While there is no indication of a return, for Alli, it represents both reflection and opportunity.

With clubs such as Wrexham, Birmingham and West Brom taking interest, perhaps there’s a determination to prove that his story at the top level is not finished just yet.
