Tomorrow evening, Spurs will face PSG in the 2025 UEFA Super Cup final, for Thomas Frank’s first official game in charge.

It is proving to be a busy week for Frank’s side, with reports heavily linking them with a move for Eberechi Eze.

However, whether a deal is done or not, he won’t be signed in time for tomorrow’s game.

There is one more player who won’t be at their disposal tomorrow.

Someone already at the club.

Indeed, Frank has left midfielder Yves Bissouma out of the squad to face PSG.

The Danish manager stated that the Malian international had been late several times so far.

Ultimately, the last time proved to be a bridge too far, and he has been disciplined for it.

This has not been the only time Bissouma has been sanctioned for off the field issues.

Last season, Ange left him out of their Premier League opener, after a video was released of him inhaling a helium balloon on snapchat.

Whilst a very talented footballer, perhaps these issues have stopped him reaching the potential many thought he had.

After the helium incident, there were no further reports of indiscipline under Ange.

Frank will be hoping this is just a one off under his stewardship too.

Either way, it isn’t a good look on the player.

He will now face the consequences of that, by not being able to play in a European final.
