Manchester United have sacked Ruben Amorim after he called out the board and told them to do their job properly.
The tension between Amorim and the United board had been going on for a while. Jason Wilcox reportedly was not happy with Amorim’s playing style.
Also, INEOS did not fulfil their promise, and that is why Amorim was not happy. Now, the real reason behind Amorim’s sacking is already out.
Now, United will be looking to move forward from this chapter, and they will look to bring in someone who can take the club to the next level.
In reality, under Amorim, the Red Devils regressed. That is why they will be looking for a manager who can play the style of football United fans are used to seeing.
After Sir Alex Ferguson, United have changed several managers. The club has lacked stability in the last decade.
That is why they are not looking to appoint a permanent manager hastily. They are ready to wait till next season as they believe they have the squad to qualify for the Champions League.
So, Darren Fletcher will be in charge of United for their Premier League game against Burnley. However, the former United midfielder will not be in charge for long.
Manchester United are looking to appoint a caretaker manager till next summer. And one name has emerged as the top candidate.
Fabrizio Romano has already revealed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to come back to the club as the caretaker manager.

In terms of the race to become the permanent boss at Old Trafford, Crystal Palace’s Oliver Glasner has emerged as the favourite candidate.
However, there is still a long way to go before United make any decision regarding the appointment of their permanent manager.
