Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are monitoring a potential defensive opportunity at Manchester United ahead of future transfer windows.
Both clubs strengthened their squads during the summer. Arsenal added Ezri Konsa and completed the permanent signing of Piero Hincapie.
PSG reshaped their squad differently, selling several valuable players while adding Maghnes Akliouche, Ferran Torres and Mika Godts.
However, both European giants are already assessing possible future additions.
According to CaughtOffside, Manchester United defender Leny Yoro is attracting interest from Arsenal and PSG.
The 20-year-old is said to have concerns about his role at Old Trafford. His representatives are expected to hold talks with United to clarify his situation.
PSG currently have the strongest interest in Yoro. Their admiration stretches back to the Frenchman’s time with Lille.
Arsenal have also emerged as a potential destination should the centre-back become available.
Yoro joined Manchester United two years ago after establishing himself as one of Europe’s most highly rated young defenders.
Real Madrid pushed to sign him at the time, although their interest has since cooled. Chelsea, Barcelona and AC Milan have also been long-term admirers of the France Under-21 international.
Uncertainty surrounding Yoro comes as Manchester United consider further defensive changes.
The club are looking at potential centre-back additions, with Como defender Jacobo Ramon among their leading targets.
That interest could create further questions about Yoro’s long-term position at Old Trafford. However, there are conflicting views surrounding his future.
Yoro has already worked under three different Manchester United managers in only two years.
Former manager Ruben Amorim was a major admirer of the defender, but Carrick could have different plans for his backline. For now, no transfer appears imminent.
However, Arsenal and PSG are keeping watch as Yoro prepares for talks that could provide greater clarity over his Manchester United future.
