Bruno Fernandes’ secret Manchester United exit plan revealed

The 31-year-old has a release clause in his Manchester United contract.

Bruno Fernandes Manchester United captain

Ruben Amorim promised a revolution at Manchester United after last season’s debacle. And he is resurrecting United from scratch this season.

United started their season with a disappointing loss to Arsenal. However, from the very first game, the Red Devils looked different. They were looking threatening up front.

But Ruben Amorim was under pressure due to a string of bad results. Yet with three wins in a row, all those Amorim sack rumours are now dead.

And the man, Ruben Amorim, who wanted to be the heart of his revolution at Old Trafford, is still there. Bruno Fernandes came very close to leaving Manchester United this summer.

There were speculations about the United captain leaving for Al-Hilal with a lucrative offer on the table. But Fernandes wanted to stay at United.

However, Fernandes’ exit rumours are not dead yet. Bayern Munich are heavily linked with a move for the Portuguese next summer.

The 31-year-old has a release clause in his Manchester United contract. And, it is around £57 million. Any club outside of England can trigger it and sign Fernandes.

However, according to Football Insider, Bruno Fernandes will not be leaving Manchester United next summer as well.

The report suggests that the only way Bruno Fernandes can get a deal with such a high salary with a top European club is when he leaves United as a free-agent.

Bruno Fernandes’ contract with Manchester United will expire in 2027. So, if he doesn’t leave for Saudi Arabia next summer, then he might have to leave the club as a free agent.

So far, Fernandes is happy at United, and he wants to win a major trophy with the Red Devils before leaving Manchester.

Thus, it seems the Manchester United captain will wait until his contract expires to leave the Red Devils.
