Manchester United agree £100m Bruno Fernandes deal

This will surely make Manchester United a better team going forward.

Bruno Fernandes, Ruben Amorim

Manchester United have reportedly agreed a £100 million deal for Bruno Fernandes. This could be one of the biggest deals in the history of the club.

As the captain of the group, Fernandes has arguably been the best player of the club for the last few years.

Now, with the Red Devils entering a new era under Ruben Amorim and Fernandes not getting any younger, this could be the perfect time for both the club and the player to part ways.

This summer, there was significant interest from Saudi Pro League clubs. However, Bruno Fernandes decided to commit to United as they are entering a new phase under Amorim.

Also, the Portuguese boss was adamant about having Fernandes as his main player. This season, apart from the EFL Cup tie, Fernandes has started all the games for United.

However, Bruno Fernandes has missed two penalties this season, which has surprised everyone. That is why it seems the time has come to part ways with the captain.

According to indyKaila News on X, Manchester United are ready to bring in two players after parting ways with Bruno Fernandes.

Last season, they were heavily linked with a move for Carlos Baleba of Brighton. So, the Red Devils will reignite their interest and sign the Cameroonian next summer.

Apart from Baleba, Manchester United will also look to bring in Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest. The former Newcastle United midfielder has been fantastic for Forest.

It is quite evident that Bruno Fernandes is not an ideal number 8. And, Ruben Amorim is playing him out of position in this system.

So, if the sale of Bruno Fernandes can bring in the likes of Baleba and Anderson, who will suit Amorim’s system more, it will surely make Manchester United a better team going forward.
