Manchester United will be looking to make a move for a full-back next summer. Yes, their first priority is to sign one or two midfielders.
They have already placed the likes of Carlos Baleba, Elliot Anderson, and Adam Wharton at the top of their list. Recently, they have also included an Aston Villa star on their list of midfield targets.
Now, they will be looking to find a suitable left-back next summer. They have already suffered a big blow in their pursuit of a player they believed could be the ideal replacement for Luke Shaw.
So, they might have to look for alternatives. Tyrell Malacia will leave next summer, and the Red Devils are looking to move forward from their dependency on Luke Shaw.
That is why they have already set their sights on a left-back playing in the Bundesliga. Now, the Red Devils are not the only club monitoring the player from the Premier League.
The league leaders, Arsenal, have also placed him high on their player wishlist. As a result, there could be a transfer race brewing between the Gunners and the Red Devils.
According to CaughtOffside, both Manchester United and Arsenal are looking to sign Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Brown has played 30 games in all competitions for Frankfurt and has already assisted 6 times and scored 3 times.
The Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are also eyeing a move for the left-back. The German’s current contract with Frankfurt will expire in 2030.
That is why Eintracht Frankfurt will be asking for an important fee for the player. With three European heavyweights already registered interest, the German club want €65 million for him.
So, next summer, Nathaniel Brown will be a key topic of speculation, as Manchester United, Arsenal, and Bayern look to sign the player.
