Manchester United learn Iliman Ndiaye transfer price

Manchester United strengthened their squad significantly after securing Champions League qualification under Michael Carrick last season.

The Red Devils have already reinforced midfield and goalkeeping this summer, but further additions remain under consideration before the transfer window closes.

Carrick’s side have also built momentum during preseason, recovering from an opening defeat to Wrexham with victories over Rosenborg and Atletico Madrid.

With friendlies against Paris Saint-Germain, Leeds United and AC Milan still to come, United continue monitoring opportunities in the transfer market.

One player attracting interest is Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye, who impressed for club and country during the 2025-26 campaign. However, a deal appears difficult at this stage.

According to Football Insider, Everton will only sell Ndiaye if a club meets their £75 million valuation. The report claims Al-Hilal are leading the race after holding talks with the Merseyside club.

Football Insider adds that Manchester United and Manchester City have both registered interest in the Senegal international.

However, neither Premier League club is currently willing to match Everton’s asking price. The report also states that Ndiaye has already agreed personal terms with Al-Hilal.

As a result, negotiations now centre on whether the Saudi Pro League side will meet Everton’s £75 million demand.

Everton remain in a strong negotiating position because the 26-year-old is under contract until 2029. The Toffees therefore feel no pressure to lower their valuation despite growing interest.

Now, talks between Everton and Al-Hilal are continuing, with the Saudi club deciding whether to meet the Premier League side’s valuation.

Although Manchester United continue monitoring Ndiaye’s situation, Football Insider indicates that Everton’s asking price currently represents a major obstacle to any move to Old Trafford.
