Marcus Rashford’s future is finally starting to take shape ahead of the summer window. The Manchester United forward spent this season away from Old Trafford.

Rashford joined Barcelona on loan and managed to rediscover form after a difficult period. His numbers have been strong.

He has delivered 13 goals and 13 assists in all competitions, with seven of those goals coming in the La Liga. While he has not always started, his impact has remained consistent.

That has now led to a major decision. According to Mundo Deportivo, Marcus Rashford is willing to take a pay cut to secure a permanent move this summer.

The England international remains under contract at Manchester United until 2028. However, he is not considering a return to the club at this stage.

Instead, he has made his preference clear. The club he wants to join permanently is Barcelona. The Spanish side hold an option to buy Rashford for £26 million at the end of the season.

However, reports suggest they want to negotiate a lower fee due to his age. Rashford is said to have already agreed a contract with Barcelona.

This includes a reduced salary compared to his current deal. Meanwhile, Barcelona are closing in on the La Liga title.

They sit 11 points clear at the top, which could hand Rashford the first league title of his career. However, at Manchester United, the situation remains open.

Michael Carrick recently admitted that a decision still needs to be made regarding Rashford’s future, although nothing has been finalised yet. Now, there is also interest elsewhere.

According to SPORT, Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring the situation, although any move would depend on their survival in the Premier League.

Currently, it is crystal clear that Marcus Rashford wants to make his Barcelona move permanent.
