Real Madrid have suffered a huge blow in their pursuit of a Manchester United wonderkid. Ruben Amorim has included him in the first team training.
The Los Blancos are always eyeing moves for young talent. They have scouted the likes of Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, and Endrick at a young age and made them superstars.
Also, with Xabi Alonso as their manager, the policy has not changed. So, the Spanish boss has sanctioned the move for the teenager Madrid are eyeing from Manchester United.
As for the Red Devils, they have adopted a similar policy to that of Real Madrid. They are looking to bring in young players and nurture them.
United have been following such a policy since the days of Sir Alex Ferguson. But, the post-Ferguson era, United moved away from that policy. So, their downfall is quite understandable.
Now, under Ruben Amorim, Manchester United are bringing their youth policy back. The Portuguese manager is not shying away from giving their academy players a chance to train with the first team.
Also, Amorim is ready to recruit young players to his team as well. That is why when Real Madrid wanted to swoop in for their teenage wonderkid, Amorim took a stand.
The Portuguese manager immediately included JJ Gabriel in training with the first team. The 15-year-old revealed this on his Instagram story, as revealed by Fabrizio Romano.
Previously, Transfer News Live reported that JJ Gabriel was a target for Real Madrid. But this move of including Gabriel in the first team training is a significant step towards keeping the player at the club.
This will show Gabriel that United value his talent. That is why Ruben Amorim might have played a masterstroke to stop Real Madrid from snatching someone who is nicknamed as ‘Kid Messi’.
