The severe goalscoring problems of Tottenham Hotspur have increased pressure on Roberto De Zerbi to strengthen his attack.
Spurs sit bottom of the Premier League after five matches. They remain winless, collecting only two points from two draws and three defeats.
De Zerbi’s side have scored just twice and failed to find the net in four matches. Spurs’ strikers have also failed to register a league goal or assist this season.
Those struggles have emerged despite Tottenham spending more than £300 million during their summer overhaul.
Savio, Omar Marmoush and Mykhailo Mudryk strengthened the attacking options. Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes were among the major midfield additions.
However, Spurs are already exploring possible striker additions ahead of the January transfer window.
According to Football Insider, Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring Real Madrid striker Endrick.
Real Madrid are prepared to entertain loan offers for the 20-year-old when the January window opens.
Endrick has played only four minutes of senior football under Jose Mourinho this season. Real Madrid now want him to receive more regular playing time.
The Spanish club previously allowed the Brazilian to join Lyon on loan last January.
Tottenham could explore a similar arrangement as De Zerbi seeks additional attacking options midway through the campaign.
A loan would also suit Spurs’ January transfer strategy. Tottenham ideally intend to avoid spending substantial fees during the winter window.
Competition could nevertheless complicate any agreement with Real Madrid. Lyon are monitoring Endrick’s situation alongside several Italian clubs and Premier League teams.
Aston Villa have also shown interest despite signing Nicolas Jackson to strengthen their attack. Liverpool and Manchester United have additionally been linked with the Brazilian striker.
Tottenham are therefore among several clubs watching developments as Real Madrid prepare to consider another temporary departure for Endrick.
