Tottenham Hotspur are having a fantastic transfer window. After sacking Ange Postecoglou, they decided to bring in Thomas Frank as their new manager.

And, Daniel Levi is now backing his new manager as much as he can. Son Heung-min has decided to leave Spurs for Los Angeles FC.

Now, Tottenham are linked with a move for Rodrygo, who is tipped to replace Son in the lineup.

Apart from that, Daniel Levi’s team has been quite impressive in the transfer market. They have signed the likes of Kevin Danso, Mathys Tel, Mohamed Kudus, and Joao Palhinha.

The Spurs will be playing in the Champions League next season. They secured qualification by beating Manchester United in the Europa League final.

This was the first trophy Tottenham have won since the Carabao Cup win in 2008. The Spurs are looking to add more trophies to their cabinet this season.

However, during the preseason, Tottenham have suffered a huge setback. James Maddison suffered a knee injury during their preseason clash with Newcastle United.

This will mean that the Englishman will be out of action for several days. Now, the Spurs are looking to create a contingency plan.

They have to go after some players who were not on their list of targets. The Spurs are looking to sign a midfielder with a similar pedigree to that of Maddison.

According to many outlets, Tottenham Hotspur identified Arsenal target Eberechi Eze as the potential replacement for James Maddison.

The Crystal Palace star played a key role in the FA Cup success of the Eagles. Now, the English international is looking for a move away from Palace.

Arsenal were interested, but his £68 million release clause is proving to be an obstacle for the Gunners. According to Football Insider, the situation is the same for Tottenham Hotspur.

Thomas Frank has now ruled out a move for Eze, and the Spurs will be looking at other options to fill the void left by James Maddison.
