Arsenal are preparing for a huge summer transfer window despite their impressive season under Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners have already secured their place in the Champions League final after defeating Atletico Madrid.
At the same time, they remain favourites to win the Premier League title with only a few matches remaining.
However, Arsenal are still expected to strengthen several areas of the squad once the season ends. They are also planning to sell some players, with their first sale already confirmed.
Now, one of the biggest priorities appears to be the left-wing position. Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard have both struggled for consistency throughout the current campaign.
Because of that, Arsenal have started exploring multiple attacking options ahead of the summer. They have already discussed several big names internally.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Anthony Gordon and Rafael Leao have all been linked with moves to the Emirates in recent months.
At the same time, there is another situation developing elsewhere in the Premier League that Arsenal are now watching closely.
A high-profile England international could become available this summer amid uncertainty over his long-term future at his current club.
According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are monitoring the situation surrounding Marcus Rashford ahead of a possible summer move from Manchester United.
The 28-year-old spent the season on loan at Barcelona and impressed in Spain, scoring 13 goals and providing 14 assists in 46 appearances.
Barcelona currently have a £26 million option to sign Rashford permanently. However, reports suggest the Spanish side are hoping to renegotiate the deal or potentially extend his loan instead.
Manchester United would reportedly prefer a permanent sale as doubts continue over Rashford’s future at Old Trafford.
Rashford has scored six goals and registered four assists in 18 appearances against Arsenal during his career.
Now, with Arsenal preparing for another major season in Europe, the club could finally make their move.
🚨 Arsenal are keeping tabs on Marcus Rashford’s situation, with his long-term future appearing increasingly uncertain at both Manchester United and Barcelona.
