In the past few years, Arsenal came very close to clinching the Premier League title. However, towards the end of those seasons, injuries plagued Mikel Arteta’s squad.
As a result, they lost the titles. But this summer, Arteta and Andrea Berta wanted to ensure they avoid the same thing happening again.
That is why they heavily invested in the squad to have backups ready if there is another injury outbreak. Now, history could be repeating itself.
Mikel Arteta is once again having a nightmare when it comes to tackling the injury problems at Arsenal. He has several players who are struggling to stay fit.
Also, just before the game against Brentford, Kai Havertz suffered an injury, as Transfer News Live already reported.
Apart from that, Mikel Arteta revealed the injury problems his team has ahead of the clash at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Now, Arteta will be very happy because of a huge injury boost his team will receive ahead of the game.
According to HandofArsenal on X, Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard, and Martin Odegaard are all included in the travelling squad to face Brentford.
Saka’s tentative return date was around the game against Tottenham Hotspur. But he made a speedy recovery. So, he will be pushing for a place in the starting lineup against Brentford.
Arsenal will be looking to get all three points against the Bees because Manchester City won against Fulham. Mikel Arteta will be hoping to restore the six-point lead at the top of the Premier League.
Bukayo Saka, Trossard and Ødegaard have all been included in the travelling squad. Remains to be seen who is included in the official match day squad but excellent news.
