Leandro Trossard make decision on Arsenal future

Arsenal are fully supportive of the decision.

Leandro Trossard played an important role in Arsenal‘s title-winning campaign and their run to the Champions League final last season.

The Belgian featured heavily across all competitions and delivered several important moments during the club’s historic campaign.

His form continued at the World Cup, where he became one of Belgium’s standout performers before their exit against Spain.

However, uncertainty over his future continued to grow as he entered the final year of his Arsenal contract.

Interest arrived from several clubs across Europe, while the possibility of remaining at the Emirates also remained on the table.

Arsenal had already reached an agreement with Besiktas earlier in the window but still required the player’s approval.

According to TEAMtalk, Leandro Trossard has now informed Arsenal that he will accept the Turkish club’s proposal and complete the move to Istanbul.

The report states that positive discussions with Besiktas helped convince the Belgian to make his final decision.

That decision will bring an end to his three-and-a-half-year spell in North London after 174 appearances for the club.

Arsenal are fully supportive of the move and remain grateful for his contribution since arriving from Brighton.

His departure will also hand sporting director Andrea Berta greater flexibility in the market during the coming weeks.

The Gunners are expected to intensify their pursuit of Aston Villa winger Morgan Rogers following Trossard’s decision.

Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis also remains firmly on Arsenal’s shortlist as Mikel Arteta reshapes the left side of his attack.

Arsenal remain open to further departures, but Trossard’s exit has already eased some of the club’s squad planning concerns.

With his future now settled, attention can shift towards the next stage of Arsenal’s summer rebuild.
