Arsenal have made a strong start to their Premier League title defence, collecting 12 points from their opening five matches.
Mikel Arteta’s side strengthened during the summer as they prepared to compete across domestic and European competitions once again.
Chelsea also reshaped their squad considerably under Xabi Alonso, with Morgan Rogers among their major additions during the transfer window.
Meanwhile, Manchester United invested heavily in midfield but have struggled for consistency during their opening matches under Michael Carrick.
The three Premier League clubs are now monitoring the same defensive option as they consider potential additions to their respective squads.
According to Fussball News, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are interested in RB Leipzig centre-back Castello Lukeba.
Barcelona are also monitoring the 23-year-old, with Hansi Flick believed to admire the French defender’s profile.
Lukeba joined Leipzig from Lyon and has since established himself as an important member of the Bundesliga club’s defence.
His existing contract runs until 2029, placing Leipzig in a strong negotiating position if interested clubs pursue a transfer.
A previous release clause in Lukeba’s contract has expired, meaning prospective buyers would now need to negotiate directly with Leipzig.
The German club are seeking approximately €60 million guaranteed for the defender, according to the report.
Performance-related bonuses could increase the overall package to around €65 million if an agreement is eventually reached.
Leipzig are not actively attempting to sell Lukeba during the winter window and would prefer to retain their defensive core.
However, the Bundesliga side could reconsider that position if they receive a sufficiently attractive proposal.
Arsenal could therefore face competition from Chelsea and Manchester United if they decide to formalise their interest.
Barcelona’s involvement creates another potential destination, although none of the interested clubs have submitted a concrete offer.
Lukeba’s future could become clearer over the coming months as his suitors decide whether to meet Leipzig’s valuation.
